I grew up under the shade of a whole family of children's book authors and illustrators.
My walls are lined with picture books. My drawers are full of scribbles and notebooks.
I have aspired to become an author-illustrator since I was pencil-high.
I studied visual storytelling with art director and UCSD professor Joy Chu. My work has been featured in galleries, logos, and publications in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, and has appeared in the Summer 2016 and Spring 2017 issues of the SCBWI Bulletin magazine.
This is the place I wring out words.
I'm not tidy or clean-spoken.
I'm more of a messy poet.
I twirl in the regular whirl of life,
snatching at sacred moments in each day's dirt and reveling in the glow.
Thank you for visiting!
